Who is April Martin?

April is a 3rd generation Texan from Brenham, Texas. Family is her top priority and that is one of the reasons why Capitol Area Realty was her first choice in choosing a brokerage. April spends her time selling real estate, entertaining her son, Ethan, playing ball with her dogs and enjoying family barbeques.

April has a wonderful and loving husband, Roger. Roger is Vice President of Operations for TeleNetwork. TeleNetwork's mission is to provide the highest level of quality for help desk and call center support services to their clients and customers. Roger and April enjoy watching movies, barbequing and working on projects. There is never a dull moment with either of them. Recent projects include flipping a house, building a fence and painting a nursery. The Martins welcomed a new bundle of joy, Ethan, in April 2007.

Pets have always been another big part of her life. April has a cat named Timmy that she rescued in San Marcos. She also has the most beautiful Beagle in the world, Gracy and a crazy Labrador, Duke. Duke is Rogers hunting dog and Gracy is Aprils baby girl. Family is very close to Aprils heart. She was raised in Brenham, Texas and continues to follow her small town values. Aprils parents, Bob and Anne Griffey, have helped her grow into a woman that is hard working, caring and takes initiative. Her father, Bob, is also a Realtor and focuses on Canyon Lake. April has two sisters, Allison and Amanda. Allison and her husband, David, live in New Braunfels with their son, Payton. Amanda lives in Austin.

Her venture into real estate began as a property manager in San Marcos, Texas. April managed 60 apartments units and 5 houses. Managing these properties allowed her pay her way through school while earning a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration majoring in Finance from Texas State University.  April is a certified and licensed real estate Broker and Realtor. She is an expert in residential and unimproved property sales. April has sold real estate all over central Texas including Austin, New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, San Marcos, Lakeway, Wimberley, Dripping Springs, Spicewood, Lago Vista, Kyle, Buda, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Leander, Cedar Park, Hutto, Elgin, Manor, Bastrop, Lockhart, Spring Branch and Brenham. Her hard work and determination makes her one of the best in the industry.

All these attributes made her the obvious choice when Capitol Area Realty decided to break new ground in Comal County. She is a branch manager in New Braunfels, Texas. Over the past few years, April has evolved a top of the line internet prospect system. She trains other agents on the best methods of follow up and advises what information to send.
